KAI-X opens KAIST’s innovative research environment to top-tier international talent,
aiming to cultivate next-generation global research partners.
An intensive 7-week summer program for elite students from prestigious universities worldwide.
Undergraduate (Jr/Sr) or Master's students in Basic Sciences (Overseas universities)
July – August annually (Approx. 7 weeks)
Approximately 00 candidates selected from over 2,000 applicants each year
Roundtrip Airfare : Reimbursed according to regional standards (Current: Up to 1,000,000 KRW)
Housing : On-campus dormitory provided throughout the program
Living Expenses: Financial support for a stable research environment (Current: 600,000 KRW in total)
Hands-on research in KAIST laboratories with faculty mentorship
Networking via cultural excursions, Happy Hours, and the Final Symposium
Developing inclusive perspectives by collaborating
